Pixie Ver 3 CW Transceiver with 7.040MHz crystal is designed for Novices, Technicians, and Generals.

Ver 3 Pixie CW Transceiver is designed for Novices, Technicians, and Generals.

Pixie will arrive in kit form and needs to be assembled.

Kit will arrive with a 7.040 crystal so Novices, Technicians, and Generals can build and use this kit.

The “PIXIE” micro-power amplitude telegraph transceiver is an excellent option for those Technicians and Generals looking for a simple, small-sized transceiver for their 40-meter band communication needs.

Despite its small size, it has been tested and proven to be capable of working over several hundred miles when connected to a good 40-meter antenna.

The latest improvements made to this transceiver are noteworthy. The vertical resistance has been changed to horizontal resistance, solving the problem of resistance to short circuits, and making it more durable and reliable.

One of the standout features of the Pixie transceiver is that it does not differentiate between positive and negative electrodes of the power supply.

This means that the power input range is versatile, ranging from 9VDC to 12VDC, making it easy to power with a range of batteries or power supplies. However, the onboard LM386 chip needs extra power to amp up audio output, so it is advisable to use a higher voltage power supply.

Novices, Technicians, and Generals are now on the air!

The Pixie transceiver is an excellent choice for those Technicians and Generals who enjoy DIY projects or for those who want a simple and cost-effective transceiver for their 40-meter band communication needs.

Its small size makes it easy to carry and perfect for portable and mobile communication setups. With its latest improvements, it is sure to provide reliable communication for years to come.
